We founded Be Yours in 2022 to share the gift of plants with our neighbors in Portland, Oregon.
We believe that plants are transformative. They enrich our daily experience, bringing life to spaces inside and out. They cultivate community and put us in touch with ourselves. In a time of disconnection and distraction, plants keep us grounded, teach us patience, and connect us to the natural world.
Much like we do, plants need care: they need to be nurtured in order to grow and thrive. Tending to plants reminds us how we must tend to ourselves and others – and to the world we live in.
At its root, our passion for plants stems from our commitment to people, and our deep belief that there is a plant for every person, an inner green just waiting to be discovered. As we continue to grow new leaves and put down new roots, we imbue each touchpoint of Pistils with a thoughtfulness that invites others into a world of possibility.

The way your plant is grown matters. We work with the highest quality, family owned farms in California to hand select the healthiest plants to send to you. This means that when your plant arrives at your doorstep you'll be off to a great start.
Direct From the Greenhouse
When you buy a houseplant from a box store or nursery, it probably spends an average of four weeks traveling from a greenhouse to a drafty warehouse on a hot or cold truck. Then, it’s shipped to a store where it likely isn’t getting the water, light, or care it needs to thrive.
Shipped to Your Door
Our plants are shipped with care and experience. We’ve learned how to keep plants at the right temperature, protect their roots, and keep them healthy while they travel from our greenhouse to your home. Our innovative packaging holds plants securely in place, preventing damage and decreasing soil spillage.
